I cannot pull a VSP Authorization for a new/existing patient (VSP)

Follow the directions below if you are having problems pulling an authorization for a patient using the Eyefinity Interface:

1. Patient Information needed to validate:

a. First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Last 4 of SSN

b. Leave the Insurance ID and Policy Group ID fields empty on the Insurance tab of the profile

2. Identify the registered VSP Provider/s

a. Office/Single Doctor is the registered provider with VSP

1. Enter the VSP Credentials (User ID, Password, Office ID) in the "VSP" tab (File > Setup > Company -- VSP tab)

*Make sure to select the correct "Location" using the location dropdown

2. Remove the "Provider" if selected on the patient's profile and try to pull the authorization

b. Multiple Providers registered with VSP

1. Enter the VSP Credentials under the respective Provider in "Provider Setup" (File > Setup > Insurance > Provider)

2. Select the respective "Provider" on the patient's profile and try to pull the authorization
