How to fix alignment when printing claim to HCFA form

In some cases due to default margin settings on printers user will be required to adjust the printer alignment so printed characters appear in their designated fields on the HCFA form. Below are steps to adjust these margins in the case you experience an alignment problem. 


  1. Open Claim
  2. Go to Provider Tab
  3. Click on the Printer Alignment button
    • Typical settings are LEFT=0.300, TOP=0.325
  4. Enter those values in the Left Margin & Top Margin fields.
  5. Click Ok button to save changes
  6. Attempt to print your claim to your HCFA from loaded in your printer
  7. If problem persists attempt to make slight adjustments to the values in the Left Margin & Top Margin fields.
