How to setup the LensOnDemand.com Interface

This article outlines steps to register and setup your LensOnDemand.com interface 

 

Setup on www.LensOnDemand.com

1. Go to www.LensOnDemand.com

2. Click the "Register" link 

 

3.  Complete the following information:

> Account Name 

> Email Address & Password

> First & Last Name

> Click the Register Button

4. Check your email for the Registration confirmation

> Click the link to complete registration 

> You will be re-directed to www.lensondemand.com logged in with credentials set in Step 3

5. Click on Configuration > Businesses to begin entering your business information

> Click on the Add New button

> Enter your Location Name in Client ID & Contact Name

6. Now click the Supplier Information tab on the left to begin adding your Suppliers

> Click "Add New" 

> Click the Supplier drop-down field and select from available suppliers ABB Concise, Diversified Ophthalmics or ODG

> Click the Default Shipping field to select the default shipping type

> Enter your supplier account number

> Click the Ok button 

> Click Save to finalize changes to your profile

> Repeat steps above for multiple suppliers (if applicable)

 


Setup on My Vision Express

1. Login to My Vision Express as an administrator

2. Go to File > Setup > Company

3. Click the Integrations tab

4. Navigate to the LensOnDemand section

> Enter registered email address

> Enter registered password (Note: If this are is greyed out, please go to help.register my vision express >renew current key>accept>next.)

> Select the Location sub-tab and enter the "Location" (This should be the same as the client id in Step 5 above)

Click the Save icon in the toolbar to finalize entry and restart program

5. Now setup employee for LOD access by navigating to File > Setup> Employees

6. Click/highlight the employee and click on the LOD button

7. Enter the email address and password for LensOnDemand as it was setup in www.LensOnDemand.com

8. Click the Save icon on the toolbar to finalize changes and restart program

9. Import your LOD Suppliers

> Go to File > Setup > Supplier/Lab

> Click the Import LOD button

> Click Save icon in toolbar to finalize changes and restart program

10.  Import new LOD lenses or link your lenses to LOD

>Go to File > Inventory > Contact Lenses

>To Link your inventory to LOD: Double click on a contact lens, then click the LOD link button. Select the lens you want to link it to and click OK. Next, click the Configurations tab and delete any config (CTRL+A > DELETE) you have and then select Update config and click okay. (Note: THIS WILL KEEP RETAIL PRICING)

>To Import: When you get to the inventory list, click the LOD button and select the lenses you would like to import. You will want to delete your lenses prior to importing new ones.

(Note: Before attempting to submit your order, please make sure that your patients have valid email addresses and the physician you are selecting on the order has an NPI on their setup.) 

 

Congratulations you have successfully setup LensOnDemand.com interface in My Vision Express.
