How to Add Cloud Website to Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer 11

This article outlines steps on how to add a website to the Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer 11

To minimize the risk of abuse of Java in Internet Explorer, the Java functionality is only possible on websites belonging to the "Trusted Sites" list in Internet Explorer.  When a website which is not on this list tries to use Java, a notification will be displayed in the bottom of the IE Window displaying "An add-on for this website failed to run." 

Follow the steps below to add the website to trusted sites to access My Vision Express Cloud.


1. Begin by opening your Internet Explorer (IE) browser

2. Go to Internet Options by clicking on the sprocket located on the top right of the browser

3. Click Trusted Sites checkmark and click on the Sites button

4. Enter the following url (https://rds.mvecloud.com/) to the "Add this website to the zone:" field and click on the Add button.  The website address will appear in the Websites field then click Close button.

5. Click the Ok button in the Internet Options screen to complete.  Restart your Internet Explorer and navigate to https://rds.mvecloud.com/ to access My Vision Express Cloud.
