Licensed Users with Expired or No Support Agreement: 

If your Maintenance and Support Plan is not current you should not download this update because it will lock My Vision Express on your system. 

If you required this update, you could contact support to renew your support agreement. If you are not sure when your support agreement expires, please call (877) 882-7456 to verify if you are eligible for this update. Take a look at our Release Notes for Version 8.50.

Before you begin:

Backup your database. My Vision Express is not responsible for any data loss.

Important considerations:

  • Network Edition Users: 

    • The My Vision Express server computer must be upgraded first.

    • Verify everything works on that server before upgrading the clients.

    • Clients will not work until they have been updated to the same version that My Vision Express server has.


  • Never rollback to a previous version as this may cause data corruption


To begin the Upgrade:


  • Restart your computer.

  • Close My Vision Express and any other programs that may be running in the background.

  • Shut down/Disable all FIREWALL and ANTI-VIRUS utilities on your system.

  • Click Download now and click on the Save option. Select a location on your computer hard drive to save the update application file (Approximately 64.1 MB).

  • Double-click the downloaded file (update.exe) and follow the instructions on the screen.

  • Repeat steps 1-6 for each client computer
