VSP Authorization Error - "Your practice does not participate in this patients plan"

  1. Go to Patient Profile  
    • Check to make sure the VSP Provider is selected in the Patient Tab of the profile
    • Confirm correct SSN is entered
  2. Go to Patient Profile > Insurance Tab
    • Verify correct Relation to Insured option is selected
    • Verify correct Insurance Company & Insurance Plan is selected

VSP Relationship

3. After making changes click on the Save button and attempt to secure your authorization.
