Can I use a CSV file to do a Physical Count?

STEP 1: Create your Spreadsheet. You can create this in Excel. Make sure your spreadsheet does not have any headers and the only two columns are Qty and UPC, in that order. Make sure there are no commas in any of the data you enter or the file will consider this to be a separate column and the information will not import properly. Save your spreadsheet as .CSV file.
STEP 2: Go TO: File > Inventory > Physical Counts
STEP 3: Click YES to synchronize your inventory counts before proceeding
This may take a little while if you have a decent amount of frames in your inventory catalog. Once the sync is complete the Physical Counts Module will open. The location you are logged into will auto fill into the location field. Item type will default to Frames.
STEP 4: Click the Import File... button
STEP 5: Click the Import File button on the pop up window
STEP 6: Select the file you wish to import
STEP 7: Look over the information that appears in the Physical Count- Import Files box and Click OK when your ready
Once you click OK your files will appear in the Physical Count module. Here you will be able to see the QTY, your original OnHand count, Final count and any variances.
STEP 8: Click Update On Hand Count
This will update your counts to reflect the count you got when you did the actual physical count for each location
STEP 9: Click Print Summary to print the physical count report
